Stock locks are a type of surface mounted door locks. Typically they were used on buildings located in damp areas. Their housing was made of wood which the lock was mortised into.

I created this lock during my apprenticeship studies under Kevin Moreau. It was largely based on an original stock lock which is now in my collection.
