16th c. Belt Hook Key Chain

This belt hook is based on an example housed at the National Museums Scotland in Edinburgh. The original was found in Loch Leven, Kinross-shire, and is dated to the 16th century.

Removal of the thumb screw detaches the ring from the belt hook, which allows the wearer to add or remove keys from the ring.

This key ring is currently available in my shop.
