Rim locks are surface mounted door locks. These came as 1, 2 or 3 bolt locks. The 3 bolt rim lock contains a main bolt, a latch bolt and a privacy bolt.

I created this lock during my apprenticeship studies under Kevin Moreau. In conjunction with making this lock, I learned how to cast brass to make the necessary pieces to complete this lock.
